The animal I chose to focus on is the endangered Hawksbill sea turtle. Within my piece, I use vibrant watercolor paints to showcase the decay of the Hawksbill, to put emphasis, on how close this beautiful reptile is to extinction. My hope in creating this artwork, is that it speaks to the viewer on how important wildlife conservation is, and that the painting will inspire the viewer to be more environmentally conscious, in a way that can only be communicated though art.
